Therma-Tru Finishing System Offers a Range of Stain Colors
Therma-Tru's Finishing system is available in all the popular stain colors including cherry, oak, cedar, walnut and antique white. You can also control the shades (lighter or darker) of each of the stain colors during application by varying the amount of stain applied. This allows you to match any decor.
Painting Preference
If you prefer to paint your Classic-Craft or Fiber-Classic entry door system, use a high quality exterior grade house paint and primer. Acrylic latex, 100% acrylic, or an oil-based paint may be used.
Maintainence
All exterior finishes are affected by exposure to the sun, weathering, moisture and air pollutants. A simple application of a maintainence topcoat will renew the protection of the stained surface.
Contempory Glass
Clean and distinct describes Therma-Tru's Contemporary doolites. Brass-plated grids are sealed between two panes of glass to protect their finish. Contemporary doorlites are also safety-tempered for energy efficiency and durability.
Clear Doorlites
Clear glass doorlites, with optional fixed grilles, removable
gilles, or internal grids, give your entryway a traditional look. All clear doorlites are double-paned and safety-tempered. Low-E glass which reduces ultraviolet light and heat energy from passing through is available in several styles.

Durability That Exceeds Wood and Steel Doors
Compare Therma-Tru's new Smooth-Star door to wood and steel. Steel doors can dent, rust and become hot or cold depending on the weather or exposure to the sun. Wood doors can dent, warp, and split over time.

Flush-Glazed Glass Styles
Flush-glazed door styles offer a smooth sleek look that's easier to maintain. The glass in a flush-glazed door is assembled directly into the panel during manufacturing. This special process makes the door and glass one solid piece. Water and wind cannot penetrate. Flush-glazed door styles are available with Low-E glass. Or, choose grilles that can be painted to match and are easily removed for cleaning.
Transoms
Transoms can be added to create a grand entrance in Crystalline glass with zinc caming or clear glass with or without removable wood grilles.

Exclusive Doorlite Frames
Smooth-Star doors are also offered in several styles with energy-efficient, decorative and clear
doorlites. All doorlites are framed in Therma-Tru's revolutionary BTS doorlites frames. They won't warp, split or crack from temperature extremes, especially when heat builds up behind a storm door. These tough and durable frames can be painted a dark color and used behind a storm door without compromising the warranty. BTS interior screw plugs are also available.
